- Coming Back to Mind ~

I come to realize that mind is no other than mountains and rivers and the great wide earth, the sun and the moon and stars.
- Dogen -

Coming back to mind, coming back to peace, a wide open space.  Sacred room to think of our world and people.  Giving people the benefit of the doubt.  Looking for the best in people and finding it.  Remembering the good and giving the bad a second chance.

Thinking of so many sad events lately, my heart is wrung out in sadness, for those who have suffered a loss.

We need to love all the more.  Serious love, real love, love everyone we possibly can.  Leave an imprint of our love in their lives.

May it be so for all of us.

Beautifully said...the world is most definitely in need of love! If empathy and kindness were common traits, wouldn't our earth would be much healthier and happier place, indeed?

I find with the sadness over so much needless violence,I am also confused. Why can not people understand how to love and have peace? Why is the opposite so attractive to some....

Let all the world reprove it
Not one atom yet has shown
A single thing disproves it"
