~ Magnolia Blossom ~
by
"the wild magnolia"
Time is marching on, it stops for no one. We may mentally stay in one place but the actual forward movement of time is always moving.
Realizing that no matter who we are, when we die, the rest of the world keeps right on going. For a moment this feels like an insult, but really, it is a good thing for those left behind. Our friends and family have a place to live out the rest of their lives.
If time stood still at the departure of our loved one we would be unable to heal and move on. We would languish in our grief. Order, such as it is, must remain for the good of all.
I am thankful for the chance to go on, and hopefully, be of further service to my fellow travelers on this earth, and in this universe.
Blessings to each of you!

OH WOW, gorgeous magnolias and gardenias - I particularly remember the fragrance of gardenias, and how I do wish they grew this far north. The perfume of both magnolias and gardenias is amazing.
