Summer Solstice means the wheel is turning taking us forward into new happenings. Our earths semi-axis is tilted toward the sun giving us more, more light, longer days
.
.
To make a celebration of each season draws attention to change. It is normal for changes to occur.
It appears I have made peace with the heat. This was a surprise even to me. Not that it changes a thing, but the heat is ok with me. Ha, ha, ha!
Being outside is my favorite now. Heat or no.
Wishing you all a great summer solstice and a great day.
Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
O summer day, surpassing fair,
With hints of heaven in earth and air.
–Eben Eugene Rexford
