Full Hunter's Moon

Hunter’s Full Moon....is what we have right now. The harvest is finished.  Baskets of apples, cabbages, squash, tomatoes, and tons of happy pumpkins are harvested.

Winter, all white and snowy, waits for her queue.

Hunter’s arrive, bows slung over their shoulder, ready for the hunt.  Bonfires burning in the distance.  Singing.  Dancing.  Celebration of harvest.

In days gone by, Full Hunter's Moon meant, there would be a  hunt.  Meat was needed for winter.

Hurricane Sandy and Snow Storm -

All on the east coast and inland, those in service to the people - rescue - restoration -and medical personnell, and the animals....are in my thoughts and prayers.

Grandmother Moon has been beautiful the past few days but now we are under cloud cover so I won't be able to watch her waning.

I've been in prayer for a long time and will continue on in that vein for those who are living this horrible storm.

Love You Sister!!!
