old buildings with the new
construction means jobs for the people
working means food on the table
construction downtown on the riverfront
progress is dusty
old buildings, old trees
if they could speak
i would take notes
people and buildings
everywhere we go
all this life going on everywhere
at the same time
history is about life
looking back to time
before we walked
this earth
i’ve never known
why the past
enchants me
