the old southern ancestors......

we accidentally went to Mobile today.  it’s true.  while in Daphne i checked for a Popeye’s Chicken on the Garmin navigator.  set on go and we took off....on I-10 over Mobile Bay, around the overpasses, in the tunnel and out, then about three blocks....the chicken was delicious.  scenery too, last evening a big rain came through, flash floods..the town was all fresh and clean.  i could feel the old southern ancestors pressing in to welcome me.
we laugh about it now.  we have a new story.
almost sunset back in hilltop rv.  rain is gone.  the wind is soft and cool.  i went for a stroll just beyond the end of the park, to the woodlands edge.  quiet.  go there and nature almost always, passes  on "in the blink of an eye"gifts.  peter cottontail's cousin hopped away thru the tall grasses.

and nature gave me these presents too -
neat, isn't it?

I'm looking at the luscious berry and my mouth is watering, lol. Mine are just started to bud so it won't be long for me!

Sending you love and hugs! :)
