A Nation - A World Remembers - A Tribute ❤

"Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures. And however undramatic the pursuit of peace, the pursuit must go on. "

John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Kneeling - A Personal Ceremony

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Bible - Phillipians 4:7
“If you want to make peace, you do not talk to your friends, you talk to your enemies.  Mosha Dyan

Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also  of the overcoming of it.
Helen Keller....
Let your love flow outward through the universe,
To its height, its depth, its broad extent,

A limitless love, without hatred or enmity.

It brings tears to my eyes when I remember that day. Seeing those lights shooting up towards the heavens where the towers once stood brings goose bumps to my arms.

Beautiful thoughts. Wish more of the world thought this way. I agree with Mary about the lights in place where the towers were. Makes me feel hopeful.
