Into the Mystic...

Into the Mystic"

We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
Ere the bonnie boat was won as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic

Van Morrison

A mystic is sometimes defined as believing in the existence of realities beyond human comprehension.

Should the sailor not return he has traveled into the mysterious mystic forever.  Believing the sailors crossover into a mystic land provided comfort.

Many people still believe the mythology or legends of their homeland.  It is their religion.

Sometimes my mind longs for another reality.
