The lovely, lovely, bones...

Go safari armed with an honest hunger for hunting the old bones and unearth mysteries. Ancestors are vital pages in the past whip stitching us to the present. In bringing home the old bones discover slivers and shards of your own bones.

Slowly the marrow fills the bones, the joints connect, a brilliant brain settles along with all the organs into the framework of bones, the eyes pop in the sockets, the teeth drop into the jaws, hair flows upon the head, the flesh adheres and stretches to cover the lovely, lovely bones.

We move, we breath, we think, we live, we create, we discover, we love…and we are wonderful.

And so, my safari for the old bones begins…..don't be afraid of the bones.

I love your prose.
I especially like this " Ancestors are vital pages in the past whip stitching us to the present." It reminds me of my search for bones as a teenager trying to make sense of my parents and where they came from. Why they "acted" the way they did. They were trying to rip out those stitches but they weren't willing to confess where the holes came from...nor even admit there were any left from the stitches.

This is going to be a lot of fun following you through the year. All ready a rich dig.

An once you recognize them...you know they have always lived in your heart.

Thank you for reminding me...
