the stutter of rain ..." ❤ excerpt (c) Amy Schutzer

Breathhhhhhhhhhhh!

The day was full of news.  Difficult to digest.  News you want to stop from reaching your heart and brain.  Somehow you absorb it and continue breathing.  News in the distant past, and not so distant past, has prepared you in some respects.  This does not stop the  pain from coming.

Beyond our ideas of right-doing and wrong-doing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.

Ideas, language, even the phrase 'each other'
doesn't make sense any more.
