What I’m Thinking and doing this Monday...

Good happy Monday to you all.  Today is beautiful and in the low seventies.  A light wind makes the air feel even cooler.

Morning walk was a jolt of soft breezes, lots of blue sky, sun energy and the grass and flowers are still in full color.  Murky army green lake water is holding fish and turtles, and somewhere, a real alligator.

I discovered I am becoming a tree hugger, and turning “green”, and a “keeper of the earth”.   There are caring actions I will follow to protect our mother earth.

I am thinking & I believe: these earth wise ways should be taught from kindergarten through grade twelve.  Along with a second language, miss manners, art appreciation, classical music, drama, dance, caring for the elderly, hands on with the community, cooking taught by real chefs, and history taught through movies.....many things can be taught by movies.  A little more expensive......but the young will pay attention.  Encourage kindness and creativity.

I watched these movies:  Of Mice and Men - John Malkovich, Gary Sinise.  A life lesson.  Sad.

and According to Greta - Ellen Burstyn, Michael Murphy, Evan Ross, and Hillary Duff.  - very very good.

WE gave Molly a bath.  I forgot to take pictures.  We all got wet.  Molly shook and shook, and then We walked until dry.

My back is better.  Got a little catch in it last night.  Maybe walking helps.  Doctor May 16th.
